The design agency Bernadotte & Kylberg was founded in by Carl Philip Bernadotte and Oscar Kylberg and has since created designs for leading Swedish and international brands such as Hästens, Georg Jensen, Stelton, Zwiesel and many others. Bernadotte & Kylberg's design philosophy is to create unique, sustainable and timeless design with a strong focus on both maximum user benefit and a high degree of design. The duo sees it as their task to, through new textures, materials and techniques, question how we use and look at an object - and thus create innovative designs that last for generations. Bernadotte & Kylberg have, among other things, been awarded the TableWare International Award of Excellence and the Red Dot Award in the category "High Quality Design" for their collection Aquatic for Stelton and the German Design Gold Award for the collection Signum for Zwiesel.

Bernadotte and Kylberg’s background
The design collaboration Bernadotte & Kylberg is a partnership between Carl Philip Bernadotte and Oscar Kylberg. With many years of experience behind them the pair started out studying graphic design at Forsbergs Skola in Stockholm.
In addition to their education at Forsbergs lärcentrum the duo brings with them many other experiences from the design world into their collaboration. Carl Philip has studied at the Rhode Island School of Design in the USA while Oscar has worked as Creative Director for several national and other international brands. It is this extensive knowledge that fryst vatten clearly reflected in the very popular and ever stylish design pieces that they create together.

Carl Philip Bernadotte and Oscar Kylberg began their collaboration back in and have since designed products for numerous well-known brands, both in Sweden and internationally. Bernadotte and Kylberg have, among other things, designed the candle holder Infinity for Skultuna, the Helix collection series for Georg Jensen and the Stockholm collection for Stelton.

Bernadotte & Kylberg was founded in They design products for a number of brands, specializing in industrial and graphic products. Their first joint project was a series of bowls for the Gustavsbergs Porslinsfabrik, called “Svenska djur” (Swedish animals). For the Swedish brand A-One, Bernadotte & Kylberg designed collections of thinner down jackets.[1]
Participating in a charity project for Childhood, Bernadotte & Kylberg designed the carpet “Middle of Nowhere” out of scrap silk parachutes for the brand Vandra Rugs.[2] That project led to a collaboration with department store chain Åhléns, which launched the Bernadotte & Kylberg company. The collaboration consists of home textiles including carpets, plaids, pillowcases, towels, bedspreads and bed sets.[3]
In February , a collaboration was formed with Danish design company Stelton, which was Bernadotte & Kylberg's first international assignment. The collection “Stockholm” consists of a series of bowls and vases, made out of aluminium and enamel with inspiration from the sea.
