Arlanda centralstation
Arlanda central är enstaka järnvägsstation beneath Arlanda landningsplats, belägen inom Sigtuna samhälle. Arlanda huvud är ett av tre järnvägsstationer såsom ligger kring flygplatsen samt trafikeras från SJ, Mälartåg och Stockholms pendeltåg.
Historik
[redigera | redigera wikitext]Stationen öppnade år strax efter Arlandabanans öppning. Den användes ursprungligen endast från fjärrtåg, främst SJ:s järnvägsfordon mot Dalarna och Gävle. Pendeltågstrafiken via Arlanda påbörjades den 9 december mot Uppsala C via Knivsta. Det tar 36 minuter med pendeltåg från Arlanda C mot Stockholm City och 20 minuter ifrån Arlanda C till Uppsala C. Då stationen ägs av A-Train istället till Trafikverket måste resenärer vilket kliver av/på stationen erlägga en stationsavgift, avgiften baseras på antal personer såsom nyttjar stationen.[1]

When does Arlanda open?
Stockholm Arlanda Airport is open 24 hours, but temporary changes may occur that affect the opening hours of stores and restaurants. This can also have an effect on which terminals that are open. Arlanda’s terminals
There are four terminals at Stockholm Arlanda Airport: Terminals 2 and 3, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5. SkyCity is located between Terminals 4 and 5. This is where you will find stores, restaurants and hotels. You can use Arlanda express free of charge to transfer between Terminals 4 and 5. From Stockholm Arlanda Airport, there is an offering of about direct routes, of which 87 are international and 20 are domestic. In addition to the direct routes, there are also many charter destinations.

Arlanda Central Station (Swedish: Arlanda centralstation) or Arlanda C is a railway station on the Arlanda Line serving Stockholm Arlanda Airport in Sweden. It is served by various regional, intercity, and night trains operated by SJ, Mälartåg and Vy Tåg and since December also by Stockholm commuter rail.
History
[edit]Plans for a railway line from the city center of Stockholm to the airport started in the early s. Policy-makers wanted to allow the airport to grow without increasing the road traffic to the airport, and decided to build a railway. The project involved building a branch from the existing East Coast Line from Rosersberg and back at Odensala. Financing was secured by introducing Sweden's first public–private partnership, whereby a private consortium would be granted a year permit to operate the line in exchange for all direct traffic and the right to collect usage fees from other train companies. The contract was won by A-Train in , which started construction in and completed the line and station in ,[2] with Arlanda C itself opening in on the East Coast Line shortly after the opening of Arla
